COVID-19 social distancing compliance.

Please read below the following rules that we will be complying with to ensure your children are safe during the summer holiday.

  1. A fully risk assessment will be completed and agreed by the coaches prior to the setting opening.

  2. All children will be asked to wash their hands regularly throughout the day to ensure hygiene levels are high.

  3. Children will be put into a ‘Bubble’ of no more than 6 children and coaches will oversee no more than 2 Bubble’s.

  4. Once allocated to a ‘Bubble’ children will only play with the other children in their Bubble for the day.

  5. Equipment sharing will be kept to a minimum, where this is not possible, coaches will be sanitising the equipment regularly throughout the day with sanitising wipes.

  6. The games we play will encourage the use of space and will enhance the spatial awareness of the children, ensuring social distancing is maintained.

  7. Lunchtimes and all activities will be outside where possible, so please pack sun cream and hats.

  8. Lunchtimes will be clearly marked with 2 metre spacing between each bubble, and 2 metre distancing within the bubble for each child.

  9. Toilets and frequently touched areas (door handles, banisters, counters, etc) will be cleaned and sanitised regularly throughout the day to ensure the hygiene levels are high.

  10. Pick up and drop off times will be staggered to reduce the wait time at the beginning and end of the day.

The law on protecting personally identifiable information, known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), allows Public Health England to use the personal information collected by NHS Test and Trace Service.

Therefore if required to do so by the NHS Track and Trace Services, CASA CAMP will provide the contact details of all children and adults that have been in close contact with anyone that has tested positive for Covid-19 within the setting.

This is in accordance with Article 6(1)(e) of the GDPR ‘processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest’.
